Erindale SS midget boys team had a gutsy race to finish in first place ahead of John Cabot at the ROPSSAA cross country championships.  Led by Daniel Stretton (10th), Jeffrey Lee (11th), Ryan Lyttle (19th), and Evan Dick (21st) pulled off the victory in style winning by 8 points.  The team was rouned out by William Malcolm (31st) and Michael Beauchamp (96).  The team will be headed to the OFSAA Championships Nov. 3 on their home turf at the Heart Lake Conservation Area.
